Through our Client Care Program, our commitment extends beyond the initial design and creation of your plan. We understand that life events, such as family changes or financial shifts, necessitate updates to your estate plan, so we’ve developed a program to be your partner in adapting your plan to life’s changes and challenges.

Before your initial consultation, gather and organize your personal and financial information and complete our Client Organizer. We require that you bring your completed Client Organizer and any requested records such as financial statements, family information, and prior planning documents, so we can tailor your consultation to your specific goals and questions efficiently.
Your family’s involvement is integral to our estate planning process. We ensure that their needs and concerns are considered throughout, which sometimes includes facilitating discussions that help align the estate plan with family dynamics and expectations.
During the Goals Conversation phase, discussions will focus on your aspirations for your family’s future, management of finances and healthcare, guardianship of children, and your desired legacy, among other personal topics, to fully align the estate plan with your life values.
Our estate planning is highly customizable and designed to reflect your specific family dynamics, objectives, and financial circumstances. This ensures that the plan is a perfect fit for your family’s unique structure and future aspirations.
The duration of the estate planning process varies and begins with an initial consultation for about an hour. Often, this consultation provides all the information we need to help you begin preparation your estate plan. Sometimes additional conversations are required to better understand your needs or objectives. Once you have decided on a plan, the remaining steps to draft and execute your estate plan typically takes 4 to 6 weeks. Every estate plan is different, so these timeframes and structures are provided as an example – it may take more time, or it may take less time, depending on your objectives and needs.
In the Execute Plan phase, you will sign all your prepared estate planning documents, make crucial end-of-life healthcare decisions, and collaborate with your attorney to ensure proper alignment of assets according to the new plan.
To keep your estate plan current with life changes, our Client Care Program offers continuous support, regular reviews, and updates. This ensures that your estate plan adapts effectively to any new circumstances or legal changes.
After finalizing your estate plan, NW Legacy Law provides ongoing support, including prompt responses to your inquiries and additional consultations as needed to address changes or concerns that may arise. This ensures lasting efficacy and satisfaction with your estate plan. For members of our Client Care Program, we provide proactive review support on an annual basis.
